The Humane Party websites (e.g., humaneparty.org and humaneherald.org) are hosted by WordPress. This web-hosting service provider and the other such providers described below automatically collect certain information for each of their users’ accounts, such as number of visitors. However, the Humane Party does not collect any information beyond that which is collected by the hosting service provider.
The Humane Party donation forms are hosted by Democracy Engine and PayPal. These donation processors provide the Humane Party with some information submitted by the donor, such as information which the Humane Party must report to the IRS. However, the Humane Party does not receive donors’ credit card information and does not collect any information beyond that which is collected by the providers.
The Humane Party contact and volunteer forms are hosted by Formsite. The web-hosting service provider provides the Humane Party with information submitted by the volunteer or person contacting the HP. However, the Humane Party does does not collect any information beyond that which is collected by the hosting service provider.
The Humane Party has social media accounts on services such as Facebook and Twitter. These service providers provide the Humane Party with information such as number of “likes” on a given page and other metrics that are common to all such accounts. However, the Humane Party does does not collect any information beyond that which is collected by the service providers.
All of the above service providers have their own privacy policies.
Information submitted by way of the Humane Party’s volunteer form may be shared with other volunteers for the purpose of volunteer coordination. However, the Humane Party does not share volunteer information with other organizations and does not sell or rent such information to third parties.
