Our Mission Today
The Humane Party is a liberation movement working to bring compassion, science, and ethics into American politics and public policy.
Our mission is to build political power for a more humane society—one that recognizes the rights and inherent worth of all beings, strengthens democracy and civil rights, protects our shared environment, and advances a sustainable and prosperous future.
We work toward that mission by developing candidates and state chapters, engaging voters, advocating for humane public policy, building alliances with organizations and communities working toward shared goals, and creating meaningful pathways for people to participate in political change.
Liberation is bigger than any single campaign, election, or issue. It means challenging systems that normalize exploitation, exclusion, cruelty, and injustice—and building something better in their place.
We believe humane government requires more than good intentions. It requires people willing to organize, collaborate, question what has been accepted as inevitable, and turn ethical principles into action.
The Humane Party is a political party. A growing community. A liberation movement.
